Who We Are

Open Doors We want to be your community church where you seek to grow in relationship with God in Jesus Christ and neighbor.

Open Hearts We share life together, in its great joys and heavy burdens as a Christian community. We grow in love of God and neighbor by caring for the vulnerable and marginalized in our community. In fellowship, we care for one another, celebrate milestones of life and faith, pray for the community, and seek to live out God’s calling in our life.

Open Minds We hear scripture preached, sung, and prayed in worship and we study scripture in small groups because it helps us see and hear God’s call. In the gospels we see the clearest example of God’s love in the world through Jesus. We are open to the ways the Spirit continues to teach us who God is through scripture, our tradition, our reason, and our experiences. Because of this, we have open hearts and minds to the ways that God’s Spirit continues to reveal new ways of interpreting scripture, tradition, and experiences as we endeavor to live out love of God and neighbor in new and changing contexts.
