Kingston Springs United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women are a community of women whose purpose is to know God, experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative and supportive fellowship and to expand the concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The Kingston Springs UMW meet from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month for prayer and fellowship, but also to organize church events and coordinate action on needs within the church community — whether it be helping members in need, assisting in a community project or fundraising.

In recent years, the group has developed a fundraising cookbook, raised donations for the Ark Community Resource Center and the construction of apartments for the formerly homeless. The group also has aided in local flood and tornado recovery efforts, and each year, the UMW organizes the popular annual church Christmas Bazaar.

The Kingston Springs UMW are members of the national organization of United Methodist Women.
